Privacy Policy
Last updated July 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LaravelScripts ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use our store, and the rights you have over that information. It applies to our website and services available at https://laravelscripts.net.
1. Who is responsible for your data
LaravelScripts is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at support@laravelscripts.net.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name, username, email address and country when you register.
- Order & license records — the Items you buy, your purchase codes, licenses and invoices.
- Support communications — messages, reviews and anything you include when you contact us.
Information we collect automatically
- Technical & usage data — IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you view.
- Download logs — a record of downloads (license, user and IP address), kept for security and fraud prevention.
- Cookies — see our Cookie Policy for details.
Information from third parties
Our payment processor, Paddle, provides us with limited transaction data (such as your name, country and the last digits of your payment method) needed to confirm your order and comply with tax and anti-fraud rules. We never receive your full card details.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and deliver the Items you purchase.
- To issue licenses, purchase codes, invoices and download links.
- To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
- To keep the store secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To send service messages about your orders and — where permitted — occasional updates you can opt out of.
- To comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver your purchases and support), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the store and prevent fraud), consent (for optional analytics and marketing, which you may withdraw at any time), and legal obligation (for tax and accounting records).
5. Payment data
All payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Your card and billing details are collected and stored by Paddle under its own privacy terms; LaravelScripts never sees or stores your full payment information. Paddle also determines and handles any applicable taxes.
6. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store, under agreements that require them to protect it:
- Paddle — payment processing, invoicing and tax.
- Hosting & storage providers — to host the store and store Item files securely.
- Email provider — to send order, license and support emails.
- Analytics provider — where enabled, to understand aggregated usage.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
7. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
8. How long we keep it
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and for as long afterwards as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Security logs are kept only as long as necessary for their purpose. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- request erasure of your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time; and
- lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — and we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email support@laravelscripts.net; we will respond within the time required by law.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and private storage for purchasable files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and the authorities of any breach as required by law.
11. Children's privacy
The store is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
13. Contact us
For any privacy question or request, email support@laravelscripts.net or use our contact page.
